Creating a ticketing element

Shown above is an entry used to
create a PNR ticketing element. The purpose of this entry is record the date on
which the tickets should be issued. This date is usually determined by two
factors: the purchase date required by the fare and the date the passenger
wishes to commit to and pay for the reservation. This information may not be
known at the time the reservation is first created, but Amadeus still requires
the element to be present in the PNR.
The entry consists of the
transaction code "TK" for "ticketing", followed by the
ticketing action identifier "TL" for "time limit" and the
date on which tickets are to be issued.
In application, the entry shown
above would create a ticketing element in a PNR indicating that the tickets are
to be issued on 15 May

When the tickets are to be issued
immediately, for example when the fare requires ticketing at the time the
reservation is made, the above format is used.
The entry consists of the ticketing
element transaction code "TK", followed by the ticketing action identifier
"OK".
In application, this entry would
create a ticketing element in a PNR, indicating immediate ticketing.
